From September 17 to 19, the second International Conference of Young Francophones took place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, initiated by the International Organization of La Francophonie.

Charlotte Courtois, founder and coordinator of the Konstelacio association, had the honor of being invited by the Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse to participate in this event with 200 other young French speakers from five continents. The aim of this meeting was to reflect and exchange ideas on the theme of the next Francophonie Summit in Yerevan: "Living together in solidarity, sharing humanist values and respecting diversity: a source of peace and prosperity for the French-speaking world."

Inspiring encounters, numerous workshops, and enriching debates were on the agenda for these three days in this mecca of international diplomacy. Some of these debates took place in the United Nations peace negotiations room.
From Côte d'Ivoire to Quebec, via the Seychelles, Lebanon and Benin, young people from all countries wanted to show their commitment to living and building together. Over the course of three days, they jointly drafted and approved by consensus the Declaration of Young Francophones, which will be presented to heads of state and government in Yerevan next October during the 17th Francophonie Summit. The Declaration brings together a number of proposals and recommendations from young French speakers on topics they consider fundamental, including sustainable development, international mobility, and living together.

Charlotte Courtois had the pleasure of presenting the Konstelacio association to the assembly and screening the teaser for the documentary "Le fabuleux voyage" (https://youtu.be/q3_3_YBDduQ) directed by Simon Guyomard as part of the Lyra project, reminding young people of the importance of being vectors for the transmission of values and culture and illustrating in concrete terms the results of building together.
