Dear all,
Konstelacio has been pretty quiet lately, don't you think? That's because I'm suffering from a lack of inspiration, coupled with parallel work on developing the association. Let me explain...
The lack of inspiration strikes again (only when it comes to writing articles), just like (as you may have noticed) at the beginning of the year when I was in Australia. My analysis of the situation: revisiting countries I already know well makes it harder to share all my surprises, since there are fewer of them. I think it's also due to the fact that after thirteen months traveling around the world, my mind is looking to "feel at home" and therefore clinging to things it knows rather than things that are new. And I thought I only found comfort in novelty! But I'm working on it, I'm working on it!
On the other hand, I am thinking very seriously about what to do next. I am relaunching my search for funding (keep your fingers crossed for me! Then maybe uncross them to type on your keyboard and give me some good ideas!). It's decided, I'm continuing! Despite the number one difficulty, which is that I can't draw a salary, and therefore I need to find a plan B to be able to live. Once again, ideas are welcome! I'll send you a specific note about the future of Konstelacio in a newsletter when I return from this wonderful trip. You can then let me know if you're in!
The last thing I wanted to mention... the classes, of course! Everything is going wonderfully. The children are great and super motivated. Some of them, as you will see, are very talented at drawing. And what makes me laugh is that the teacher is just as enthusiastic as they are, and I can tell that he would love to draw and write stories too 🙂. We'll finish the stories next week and move on to the rest of the booklet. My good friend Myriam comes to help me in class, and it's great to see how motivated she is about the project! Her help is invaluable, and she's been able to assist with writing the stories and taking photos and videos. Coming soon!
