Tunisia... the echoing voices of the muezzins when it's time for the call to prayer, the delicious scent of orange blossoms, the bright sefsaris, large traditional white veils, the red chechias on the heads of some men, the blue wrought iron gates, the fresh, sweet taste of oranges from the garden, the radiant smiles of Tunisians who welcome us with open arms...
This has been the daily life of the Lyra team since the beginning of the week. What a joy!

We have now begun the third and final stage of our journey. The program is busy and exciting. We have already met more than 180 children at Mongil School and SOS Children's Village in Radès, thanks in particular to the Mashreq' Shams association, which gave us an exceptional welcome. The children are full of life. Their enthusiasm delights us!

At the same time, the musicians are creating the final tracks for the album and recording them with Pierre. Izou's camera is overflowing with images that will inspire her to create the Tunisian illustrations. And Simon is capturing everything on camera and video so that he can share this wonderful experience with you all.

Next week, we will continue our educational activities by visiting children in Aïn Drahem, a village in the northwest of the country. We will also be collaborating with talented Tunisian artists.
Finally, we will conclude with a concert on Saturday, April 8, at the Safia Farhat Museum in Radès at 3:30 p.m., to which you are all invited (free admission).

Feel free to spread the word among your friends living in Tunisia! We can't wait to see what this new week has in store for us!

See you very soon, then.

The Lyra team.
