Summary of Lyra's first day: the musicians arrived safely, there was a small, quiet concert at the General Council, and there were lively discussions about language ("How do you say 'My name is Ilyas' in Arabic?" and "How do you say 'airplane' in Hindi?"), history (Akbar and Hannibal), religion, and more. Crepes and galettes, musical exchanges, and... a snowball fight!
