As part of her appointment as a Young Leader for Peace by UNESCO, Charlotte Courtois (founder of the Konstelacio association) has devised a regional project aimed at creating educational tools to teach children and teenagers about peace by raising their awareness of cultural diversity.

To create these tools, participants will be able to draw on what Konstelacio has already created:numerous videos from the Polaris, Lyra, and Ursino projects; the board game we are currently developing; the workshop offered for theschool walkin May; the travel journal created by one of the association's volunteers; and finally, the educational kit we have started to create cooking videos!

What if dialogue between cultures could be built together, around a table, a notebook, a game, or an idea? With this project, we want to encourage teachers, facilitators, and supervisors to leadworkshops with the children and teens they work withto raise awareness of intercultural dialogue as a tool for peace.

The creation of educational tools: the process

Therefore, to carry out this project, we are looking for volunteers to participate in four meetings between January 14 and February 4. These meetings will take place on Wednesday afternoons at the Carrefour 18 community center in Rennes or via video conference. Volunteers will work together to develop innovative educational tools.

What if you have children or teenagers at home? Don't hesitate to bring them along! Either they'll want to do other things while we're working, or they'll want to get involved and contribute their ideas and opinions! (PS: we'll provide snacks for everyone!)

Next, the tools created will be tested in schools in March and April, so that they can be adapted and translated, particularly into English. At the same time, we will conduct interviews with young people to better understand their desires and needs.

Finally, this joint project will be presented atthe UNESCO World Peace Summit in China in May 2026!
