Dear all,

Here we are at last, the time has come to unveil phase two of the Ursino project: Lebanon!

Months of preparation, numerous discussions, and extensive research have led to this exciting result. On October 14, we will set off to discover Lebanon's rich and diverse culinary heritage. How exciting!

And as with all our projects, we have built strong partnerships in order to best adapt to the host country, its culture, and its issues.

Kamal Mouzawak

We are delighted and proud to be working with Kamal Mouzawak, a chef, social entrepreneur, and culinary activist whose motto is "Make food, not war." He is committed to using cooking as a means of building social ties. How could we not invite him to join the project? Together with the cooks from Souk El Tayeb (a farmers' market he founded), he will meet with young Ursino beneficiaries to talk about cooking, passing on knowledge, sharing, and more.

Food Heritage Foundation

We are also delighted to announce our partnership with the Food Heritage Foundation for research and recipe collection. If you would like to discover Lebanon's culinary heritage right now, we invite you to visit their website:https://food-heritage.org. They are doing a wonderful job of preserving and passing on Lebanese culture.

School of the Three Doctors

These young beneficiaries will be students at the Ecole des Trois Docteurs, an inclusive school that welcomes us with open arms, whose values are very close to our own, and with whom we are particularly eager to collaborate!

Mishwar NGO

Finally, continuing with our approach of providing equal access to culture and our activities, we have forged links with the NGO Mishwar, which works with young Syrian and Palestinian refugees in northern Lebanon. We will be running workshops there on passing on cultural and culinary heritage.

Department of Culture & Department of Foreign Affairs

We are also very proud to be sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, support that comes in addition to that of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

More information coming soon, in words and pictures. We look forward to taking you along with us on this wonderful adventure!
