This weekend, we entrusted the original artwork for the cover of our book and CD, "Le fabuleux voyage d'Arwenn" (Arwenn's Fabulous Journey), for repair of the damaged frame...
The painting was stolen on Sunday afternoon in Trentemoult from Le Bistrot du Port. It is 40 x 40 cm in size, under glass and wrapped in kraft paper.
As you can imagine, this painting has enormous sentimental value for Izou, the artist who created it, and for the entire Konstelacio and Lyra project team.
It is the result of many hours of work, a collaborative effort by the whole team. It is the last illustration to be completed, THE finishing touch to sum up many months spent around the world, working together with children to help them discover the beauty of diversity and respect for differences.
This original artwork was to be exhibited at the end of the week at an intercultural festival in Châlons-en-Champagne.
We are all deeply affected by this theft and hope that all is not lost. We are counting on you to share this information as widely as possible, particularly around Nantes, where the painting was stolen.
You can contact us by email or Facebook (Konstelacio or Izou) if you have any information that could be useful to us.
Thank you all for your support and help,
Charlotte
